Free R Programming Guide

If you are interested in data analysis, you might be interested in “R”, a free software environment for statistical computing and graphics. R was designed from day one to handle statistics and data visualization, it’s highly extensible with many new packages aimed at solving real-world problems, and it’s open source.

If you’re ready to learn, there is a free PDF of Computerworld‘s “Beginner’s guide to R.”

There is also a sizable amount of free documentation available from the R development team.
